🏠 Home
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
Home is the centre of your day. The frame at the top shows the scene you are working on, and below it sit today’s habits, to-dos and events.
What you can do here
- Look at the frame and take in today's scene
- Tap "+1" on a habit card to mark today's step
- Check the day ahead on the timeline
📝 Adding tasks, events and habits
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
Sabiowl has three kinds of entry: habits, to-dos and events.
| Kind | What it is for | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Habit | Something you repeat | A morning walk, reading, strength training |
| To-do | A task you finish once | A bank errand, submitting a form |
| Event | Something at a set time | A meeting, an appointment, a plan with someone |
How to add one (the same for all three)
- Tap the "+" button at the bottom right of Home
- Choose "Add habit", "Add to-do" or "Add event"
- Enter a title (you can also pick from suggestions for common ones)
- Set the category, frequency, time of day and so on
- Tap "Save". It appears on Home right away
If you have Quick Notes turned on, the button at the bottom right becomes a note field instead (see “Quick Notes” below).
When a completion is recorded
The moment you tap, it is recorded. If you complete something more than once in a day, the count is recorded too.
Three ways to record
| Type | When to use it | How you record |
|---|---|---|
| Count | When you want to count repetitions, like “30 push-ups” | Tap “+1” to add to the count |
| Checklist | When there are several items to work through, like “five things before leaving” | Tap the checkbox on each item |
| To-do | When it finishes in one go, like a bank errand | Tap the completion mark once |
Pick whichever fits the shape of the habit 🪶
Protecting a streak
Go to Settings → Streak Protection and turn on “Protect streaks automatically”. While you have stones in stock, one is spent automatically the moment a streak would break, and the streak is kept.
Streak protection stones are available in the shop for 💎 30 each. If you fall ill partway through, this quietly protects what you have built 🪶
Quick Notes
Somewhere to write things down before you decide what they are. For anything you have thought of but not yet made into an event, a to-do or a habit: write it down now and sort it out later 🪶
Getting started
- Turn on "Settings → Quick Notes"
- The button at the bottom right of Home becomes a note field
- Write down whatever came to mind
- Later, tap the note and choose "Save as Event", "Save as To-Do" or "Save as Habit"
Writing by voice
Tap the microphone in the input field and what you say becomes text. The transcription is done by your device’s operating system: the audio itself is never sent to our servers. See Article 2 of the Privacy Policy for details.
Finding and restoring
- The search field at the top filters the notes currently shown, and highlights matches in yellow
- Deleted notes go to the trash, so you can restore them afterwards
If you would rather not use Quick Notes, you can turn it off again under Settings → Quick Notes. While it is off, the button at the bottom right of Home works as “+” (add) as usual.
Archive vs. Trash
Swipe a habit card left or right for two ways to tidy up:
| Action | What happens | Recovery |
|---|---|---|
| Archive (swipe right) | Temporarily removed from the list | Restore at any time |
| Trash (swipe left) | Scheduled for deletion | Restore within 30 days; deleted permanently after that |
Both show a confirmation dialog first, so you cannot do either by accident. Open Archive from the filter bar above the habit list on Home: it has two tabs, Archive and Trash, and you can review and restore from either.
🌙 The sleeping world
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
The sleeping world is where what you build up day by day takes shape as a scene. Each habit you complete gathers a fragment, and when a scene is whole, it begins to move.
How fragments are gathered
- Your first completed habit of the day creates one outline fragment (grey)
- Winning a battle that day turns it into a colour fragment
- When every fragment has colour, the scene is complete and starts to move
Once a scene is complete, you can choose the next one from the scene selection screen. Finished scenes stay in the frame on Home 🪶
🎯 Challenges
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
A challenge is a shared monthly goal that every user works toward together. There is nothing special to do — completing a habit in the target category adds your contribution automatically.
How to take part
- Open "Challenge" from the bottom menu
- Check this month's target categories, such as Fitness or Learning
- Complete a matching habit (one contribution counted per day)
- Pass the three tiers — 🥉 Bronze, 🥈 Silver, 🥇 Gold — to earn EXP rewards
⚔️ Guild (battles)
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
At the guild, Lilia at the desk introduces you to opponents. Winning earns EXP, coins, weapons and colour fragments.
How a battle goes
- Open "Guild" from the bottom menu
- Pick an opponent from the board (one near your own level is a good place to start)
- Tap "Take on" to begin
- When the ATB gauge fills, tap to attack or use a skill
- Win, and your rewards and fragments arrive
Battle speed
From the app bar on the battle screen you can switch between 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 3x. Speed it up when you are in a hurry, or keep it at 1x when you want to watch it play out 🪶
Battle tickets
Setting out from the guild costs 3 battle tickets. You earn one ticket for every habit you complete (up to 30, which is ten battles’ worth).
In other words, what you need in order to fight comes from what you have built up that day. Each small step is also preparation 🪶
The guild icon in the bottom menu shows where you stand:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| ✓ × N | You can set out (N is how many battles you have left today) |
| 🔒 | You have reached today’s battle limit |
| No badge | You do not have 3 tickets yet |
The guild screen also tells you how far off you are: “Complete N more habits to deploy.”
How many battles a day
Separately from tickets, there is a daily limit — 10 by default. You can also expand it by up to 5 more slots from the shop.
If you see “No more challenges today”, the count resets when the date changes at midnight.
Enemy weaknesses and resistances
Weakness and resistance information appears only for enemies you have beaten at least once. We want the first attempt to keep the tension of not knowing quite what you are facing.
Once you have beaten an opponent, we will show you the hints — which elements it is weak to and which it resists — from then on 🪶
Using recovery potions
Set how many you plan to use (0–3) on the sheet before the battle, and one is used automatically whenever your HP drops to 30% or below.
There is no need to judge the timing mid-fight, so you can stay with the rhythm of the attacks. Recovery potions are available in the shop for 💎.
📅 Calendar
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
The calendar shows a month at a time, so you can look back over what you have built. You can review past records and statistics, and add upcoming events.
What you can do here
- Open "Calendar" from the bottom menu
- Tap a day to see that day's record
- Open "30-day statistics" to see how far you have come, as a graph
- Tap "+" at the top right to add an event
🦉 Characters
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
In Sabiowl you pick one character to travel with. Each has a way of fighting that suits them — their job — and your own growth becomes their strength.
What you can do here
- Open the menu (☰) → "Change Character" to see the ones you own
- Choose one you like and tap "Use" to travel with them instead
- The stats screen shows how your six abilities are growing
- You can also assign stat points by hand when you level up
Where characters come from
- The gacha (an SSR character from the weekly draw, or a guaranteed unowned SSR from the monthly draw)
- Buying with diamonds (Shop → buy a character, 6,000 diamonds)
- The 21-day monthly reward (a guaranteed SSR ticket)
🎰 Gacha
▲ This video ID is a placeholder. The real walkthrough is coming soon 🪶
The gacha is designed as a small reward for what you build up day by day.
Three kinds
| Kind | How you get tickets | Main rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | Logging in and completing habits | Experience, XP boosts, weapons |
| Weekly | Completing weekly missions | Diamonds, XP boosts, weapons, an SSR character (0.5%) |
| Monthly | Guaranteed SSR for 21 days completed this month | A guaranteed unowned SSR character |
How to draw
- Open the menu (☰) → "Gacha"
- Tap "Draw" for whichever tickets you have
- After the animation, your reward is added (you can check the history at any time)
About the 21-day guaranteed SSR ticket
The moment your completed days this month reach 21 — and they do not have to be consecutive — we send you one guaranteed SSR gacha ticket.
Using it on the gacha screen gets you one SSR character you do not yet own, guaranteed. It arrives when you reach 21 days rather than at the end of the month, so it lands naturally as a reward for what you have been doing 🪶
Where SSR characters come from, in summary
- 21 days completed in a month (one ticket a month) — a guaranteed unowned SSR
- The weekly gacha (0.5%) — an unexpected meeting
- Buying with diamonds in the shop (💎 6,000) — pick the one you want
